About FTPA

Film & TV Producers’ Welfare Association (FTPA) is a non-commercial organization registered under the Societies  Registration  Act, of 1860, that represents and supports the welfare of producers and other professionals in the media industry of Audio-visual programmes and related verticals.

We advocate for the professional recognition, economic interests, and community growth of our members and working across various Government Ministries/Departments, media channels, & private-sector platforms.

What We Do

Welfare and Representation

To protect, promote, and uplift the professional and socio-economic interests of its members, including interacting with government bodies and media houses on their behalf.

Dispute Resolution & Legal Aid

To resolve disputes among members and take lawful actions to safeguard their rights.

Community Building

To foster cooperation, mutual harmony, and unity among members and the public, while organizing seminars, meetings, conferences, workshops, film awards and cultural gatherings.

Information & Research

To collect and disseminate relevant government policies, notices and notifications.

 

Support & Collaboration

To create benevolent funds and to assist other associations or NGOs for the benefit and protecting interests of the fraternity.
